Oh what a night #ge2010

In just under two hours I will be in Wandsworth Civic Suite, reporting on the count.

At The River (Kington University’s student newspaper) we’ve decided to take on the rather ambitious task of putting out an “election special”. We’re covering all the major South West London constituencies and have a deadline of 4am. Well, if the dailies can do it…so can we!

I will be covering three constituencies tonight: Battersea, Tooting andPutney.

I will be Tweeting live from the event, as will other reporters from around the counts on our Twitter page (as well as my own).

As well as this, rather excitingly, we will be collaborating with Winchester Uni’s BCTJ students and helping them broadcast LIVE all night from 8pm here: http://www.winol.co.uk/

It’ll even have my whiny voice on it every now and then from Wandsworth.

So, let the counting commence…
