F**k off Beeb, leave our swearing alone

There have been few problems since its introduction in 1964 but today the BBC revealed it is to give its watershed an overhaul, by banning swearing even after 9pm.

For the first time in its history, the Beeb is even asking the public to have their say on its (draft) Editorial Guidelines released today by completing an extremely dull survey (Personally I’d prefer to write to Points of View in the hope that Sir Tel reads the words “Lara O’Reilly” aloud) about the drab 190 page legal gumph-saturated document.

Complaint letter I just posted to Trevor Elliot, MD of Customer Services at Vermin Media

Dear Trevor,

Today £217.14 was debited from my bank account for my Virgin Media services (I have my television and broadband with you). Guess how many months’ service that was for? Three months? Four perhaps? Only TV and broadband- that must be five! No, Trevor, this was for two months. Excessive, don’t you think?
